History of seiko:

The history of Seiko began in 1881 with Kintaro Hattori’s watch business. The company already produced its own watches in 1892, and then introduced the Seiko brand name in 1924.

Seiko is a Japanese word with multiple meanings, it can mean: perfect, minute and success. These reports in themselves express the founder’s aspirations towards excellence.

Seiko has hundreds of patents to its name that have revolutionized the world of watchmaking, but none of them are as important as the quartz wristwatch introduced in 1969.
