Marvin's story:
In 1850, the Didisheim brothers, Marc and Emmanuel, established a watch company in the village of St-Imier in the Jura region near Bern. Thanks to the quality of their products and the dynamism of their distribution, the company began to grow rapidly.
At the beginning of the 20th century, they adopted the brand name Marvin after an American partner who was fond of pocket watches. Their symbol became the 3-pronged crown, symbolizing the letter M placed on its head.
After the conquest of America, Marvin became a point of alignment among Swiss brands. Over time, millions of watches were produced, including models that became special and collectors' favorites.
The four Didisheim generations, who succeeded one after the other under the company's wings, have always had the main goal of offering quality products. In the early days, the movements produced by Marvin gained an excellent reputation and were sought after by other leading brands to produce their own models. Marvin was also asked by airlines such as KLM and Air France to create an official watch collection for them. 
In the constant research to improve the quality of their products, the Didisheim brothers often became pioneers, developing many patented systems. 
Marvin also built his success on the appearance of his products - both modest and sophisticated, always one step ahead of trends in style. This creativity, coupled with the quality of the products, has led to the popular support of many well-known personalities, including racing driver Ascari, Stirling Moss and the famous Fangio.
In the 70s, with the spread of quartz movements, Marvin joined a powerful watchmaking group, Manufacture Suisse Réunie (M.S.R.), which included other famous brands. 
It regained its independence in 2002, led by a group of passionate individuals committed to reviving the brand's luster and dynamism.
